Loretta Lynn returned to the concert stage tonight (July 30), closing the weekend lineup at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Lynn, who was sidelined earlier this month by dehydration and heat exhaustion, is thrilled to be back doing what she loves most – performing for her fans. “Every time I get sick people start asking am I gonna stop doing shows, but as long as I can sing and people wanna come see me, I’m just gonna keep on going!” Lynn said backstage. Lynn’s 2011 tour schedule has included such high-profile events as the Bonnaroo Festival in June. Now in the sixth decade of her music career, the Coal Miner’s Daughter has entertained millions of fans and ranks among the most treasured and celebrated performers in American music.
