Cookbook in Stores Nationwide on September 8
Nashville, TN – Country music icon Loretta Lynn was a guest appearance on QVC on Sunday, August 15 to
promote her new cookbook, You’re Cookin’ It Country. Lynn
visited the QVC studio for two 10-minute segments; the
first on “In The Kitchen with Bob” during the 12:00 Noon –
2:00 pm hour EST, followed by a second guest spot on
“Cookbook Corner” during the 8:00-10:00 pm hour EST.
As a gift for her children, Loretta started writing down
some recipes that had been passed on to her over the years
by family and friends. Collecting recipes and reminiscing
about her love of cooking for her family inspired Loretta to
write the cookbook. Published by Rutledge Hill Press and
containing more than 216 pages, You’re Cookin’ It Country
consists of over 130 recipes, family photos and personal
stories about her history in the kitchen. The book is filled
with many of Loretta’s favorite recipes including:

Doolittle’s Cat-Head Biscuits
Loretta’s Wilted Lettuce
Chicken & Dumplin’s
Peanut Butter Fudge
The cookbook release follows on the heels of Loretta's
critically-acclaimed new Interscope album, Van Lear Rose.
Comprised of 13 self-penned songs, Van Lear Rose garnered
Loretta's highest career sales debut entering Billboard's
Top 200 at # 24 and Country Album chart at # 2.
