Music Icon Loretta Lynn Releases Video
For "Miss Being Mrs." From Her Critically Acclaimed Album,
Van Lear Rose
Nashville, TN – With her album Van Lear
Rose in its third consecutive week in the Top 5 on
Billboard’s Country Album Chart, Loretta Lynn’s new video
for “Miss Being Mrs.” hits CMT and GAC among other video
outlets nationwide this week.
The song shares Lynn’s thoughts and emotions after the death
of her husband, Oliver “Doolittle” Lynn, in 1996. With Lynn
wearing her original Coal Miner’s Daughter dress, the clip
was shot in the parlor and her and Doo’s old bedroom in
their Hurricane Mills, TN plantation home.
“Miss Being Mrs.” is one of 13 songs Lynn wrote for Van Lear
Rose. With sales of nearly 100,000 units since its release
on April 27, Van Lear Rose achieved the singer/songwriter’s
highest album chart entry of her legendary career, debuting
at #24 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and #2 on the
Country Album Chart.
Lynn will perform the heart-wrenching ballad, with Vince
Gill accompanying, live on the Academy of Country Music
Awards broadcast, May 26, on CBS from 8:00 -11:00 pm EST.
