Loretta Lynn Concert Tour Sidelined by
Broken Shoulder
Nashville, TN – While at her Hurricane Mills, TN home last
Sunday, music icon Loretta Lynn accidentally fell resulting
in a broken left shoulder. Lynn will undergo shoulder joint
replacement surgery at a Nashville area hospital tomorrow
before returning back home to recuperate.

SOUTH BEND -- Giving a performance that seemed more like a
band practice than a gig, Loretta Lynn remained loose and
casual, showing a relaxed side not often seen in the
professional music business.
Perched, barefoot, atop a tall stool, she talked candidly to
the sold-out crowd at the Morris on Mother's Day about
nothing and everything all at once.

the title more than a generation ago, but the 72-year-old
singer who arrives at the Morris Performing Arts Center

Celebrity Classic Auction
Loretta donated several items including a
signed photo and CD Collection! The items were
auctioned off for country trio Trick Pony's Celebrity
auction and golf classic. All proceeds will go to The
Arthritis Foundation. The Arthritis Foundation is devoted to
helping arthritis sufferers, educating patients and the
public on arthritis, and supporting arthritis research. |

was a long time family friend and was immortalized in

life. Doc Turner's part was played by actor David Gray. He
