LORETTA LYNN DONATES “VAN LEAR ROSE” MANUSCRIPT TO THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAMEŽ AND MUSEUM COLLECTION

NASHVILLE, Tenn., January 2005 - - Van Lear Rose, a spotlight exhibit celebrating the artistic re-birth of American popular culture icon Loretta Lynn, opens at the Country Music Hall of FameŽ and Museum on Friday, February 4, for a three-month run.

Included in the spotlight is the manuscript for “Van Lear Rose,” the title song from Lynn’s 2004 CD release, which Lynn recently donated to the Museum’s permanent collection. more

Loretta Is Number 1 on the Scene!

Loretta is named #1 in four categories of a nationwide critics poll in the current (January 27) issue of the Nashville Scene including Artist of the Year, Album, Female Vocalist and Songwriter as well as placing two songs, “Portland, Oregon” (#2) and “Miss Being Mrs.” (#10) on the top singles list.
