Loretta Featured in
Rolling Stone Magazine
Loretta's "In The Studio"
column item in the Feb. 19 issue of Rolling
Stone reads:
"The songs are country but a little bit
different," says Loretta Lynn about her new
CD, produced by
Jack White. New tracks such as "Women's
Prison" and the Lynn-White duet "Portland,
Oregon"
are full of heartbreak, but they also rock
out a little harder without losing their
down-home spirit. White, for one, was smitten with the
results. "She's proving to me again and
again that she's the
greatest female singer-songwriter of the
twentieth century," he says.
