We all know that Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn were the best of friends with one another. Out of curosity, any time you read any of the women singer's books from that time frame, they are so jealous over that fact. Some of the women even claim it was mostly a myth that they were that close. Why do they feel that way? Why were they that jealous of them for being friends? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Loretta Lynn even went far enough to record a tribute album to Patsy Cline in 1977 entitled "I Remember Patsy." She had two successful singles from that album, "She's Got You" (#1) and "Why Can't He Be You" (#7). They should realize by that they were indeed friends. That's just a question that I've often wondered about. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Steven Bunch
