LORETTA NAMED A RECIPIENT OF NARAS HONOR

Loretta Lynn has been named a recipient of the Nashville Chapter’s Recording Academy Honor, for her four decades of work which include three GRAMMYs, an Oscar-winning film, 27 Number 1 hits, and 55 Top 10s.

The gala event will be held Monday, April 9, 5:30 PM, at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville. Proceeds will benefit The Recording Academy’s professional education programs and its philanthropic efforts in the Nashville area as well as the MusicCares Foundation, the health and human services charity founded by The Recording Academy.

Recording Academy Honors were established to honor outstanding individuals in each Chapter’s region whose work is embodied in excellence and integrity and who have improved the environment for the creative community.
