Doc Turner was a long time family friend and was immortalized in Coal Miners Daughter, the 1980 movie about Loretta’s life. Doc Turner’s part was played by actor David Gray. He will be missed. While preparing to leave for her concerts this weekend, music icon Loretta Lynn accidentally fell last night resulting in a broken left foot. Tour dates through the month of October, including Columbus, GA (October 7), North Myrtle Beach, SC (October 8), South Bend, IN (October 14) and Florence, IN (October 15) have been cancelled.
